NAOMH ULTAN have installed Kilcar native Kevin Lyons as the new manager of their senior side.
Lyons was confirmed this week as the club’s new boss for the 2017 season.
Lyons actually sought the Kilcar job this year, but was defeated in a vote at the club AGM by the incumbent, Martin McHugh.
Naomh Ultan survived in Division 3 of the All-County League last season and lost out to Aodh Ruadh in an Intermediate Championship quarter-final.
The Dunkineely side had been under the direction of Brendan McGready, who was in charge in 2016 for his fourth successive year – the longest of any manager last year.
Naomh Ultan have also confirmed the appointments of Adrian Nesbitt and Sean Furey as the reserve team managers for the coming campaign.
