Kilcar impressed as they chalked up another League win with victory over Bundoran in Towney.
Kilcar 3-23 Bundoran 3-11
Barry Doherty’s men had 12 points to spare by the finish and the margin could have been greater.
Patrick McBrearty hot 1-6 and Ciaran McGinley helped himself to 2-1 as Kilcar scored a valuable win that showed their strength.
Cian McEniff’s goal had Bundoran 1-3 to 0-3 ahead early on, but Kilcar seized control of things before half-time.
Ryan McHugh – who hit five points himself – set up Patrick McBrearty for the opening Kilcar goal.
And before half-time, McGinley hit his first three-pointer to put them 2-8 to 1-7 ahead.
Just after the break, McGinley rattled the net again and Kilcar were in cruise control.
Tommy Hourihane and Johnny Boyle put the ball in the net for Bundoran late in the game, but it was Kilcar’s day.
