14-man Kilcar overcame St Michael’s at The Banks last night to reach the semi-finals of the Senior B Championship.

In difficult conditions, Kilcar were able to cope with the 20th minute dismissal of Paddy McShane to take the win.
Kilcar led 0-6 to 1-1 at half-time, with Cormac Cannon on the mark with three points.
St Michael’s were given a lifeline in the form of an Eoghan Kelly goal late in the half. It was a controversial score with some debate as to whether or not it had crossed the line.
The goal stood and it gave St Michael’s a real boost.
Edward O’Reilly netted a second goal for St Michael’s, but Pauric McShane’s goal helped ensure that Kilcar moved into the last four.
