KELAN COLLIER SCORED a dramatic late winner for St Eunan’s College in a cracking Loch an Iuir (Ulster Under 15 Colleges) fixture against St Pius, Magherafelt.

It was a fitting score for a young man that took on the Derry defence all through the match. Also to fore was Shane Monaghan, the Naomh Colmcille player, who was instrumental in carving many openings and scoring 2-1 in the first half.
Leading by 4-2 to 0-5 at half-time, St Eunan’s were in control. However, the Magherfelt College got off to great start in the second half with two goals and a point from Caolan McCann.
Both teams traded scores in an exciting encounter Oran Brogan and Sean Collum were excellent in defence for St Eunan’s along with Jack Roarty and Noel O’ Donnell in midfield.
[adrotate group=”87″]Callum Coway and Michael Forbes were outstanding for St. Pius, Magherafelt ans they levelled the scores with two minutes to go only to be denied by Collier.
St Eunan’s now play Patrician College Carrickmacross in their final match of the group and whoever takes victory will top the group.
