Karl Lacey returned to action today, but Four Masters were denied by a late brace by Kealan McFadden as Glenswilly salvaged a draw.
Glenswilly 1-6 Four Masters 0-9
Lacey was introduced in the second half, but was forced to leave the action again due to a facial injury.
McFadden hit five points for Glenswilly, three of them in the first half, while Paddy Diver scored a second half goal.
Four Masters led 0-8 to 0-3 at half-time.
That advantage might have been even greater, but Philip O’Donnell saved a penalty from Kevin McBrearty in the 20th minute.
McBrearty drilled over three of the Four Masters points and they were five to the good at the break.
Diver fisted home from a long ball in by Ciaran Bonner.
McBrearty kept Four Masters ahead, but McFadden’s late point drew Glenswilly level.
