Trentagh’s Martin Harley was in the winners’ enclosure at Chelmsford on Saturday again.
Harley took an impressive win aboard Rosa Damascena for trainer Alan King.
The four-year-old had appeared restless in the stalls ahead of the 1 mile and 2 furlong race.
However, under Harley’s drive, Rosa Damascena made headway going into the last two furlongs and tracked the leaders with a furlong remaining. Harley’s persistence paid off as the 9/1 shot won by ¾ of a length from Zehrah, with Silvestre De Sousa in the saddle.
