After wins against Brandon Nicholl, Pricilla Steenbergen, Maikel Verbek, Callum Graham and Graeme Hamilton, he overcame Job Ten Heuvel from Netherlands in the semi-final.
The six qualifying rounds were held on one day in October in Hull.
“It feels unreal to be in the final,” he told Donegal Sport Hub.
“I’ve always wanted to play in the Lakeside. It’s a dream come true. I can’t believe that I’m in the world final.”
Since qualifying for the final, Boyce won the Donegal Darts Youth Competition in Donegal town and won the Donegal Open in Quigley’s Point.
He also won his first cap for Ireland and won his game in Sligo 3-0.
On Sunday, he took part in a competition in the Fishermans Inn, St Johnston.
A large crowd of his family have made the trip to Surrey to cheer him on in this afternoon’s final.
