JONNY Carlin has signed for League of Ireland First Division outfit Athlone Town.
Carlin has put pen to paper on a contract at the Midlanders.
Last week, the Crossroads man left Cabinteely after two seasons at Stradbrook.
Carlin has now been snapped up by Adrian Carbury, the Athlone Town manager.
Carlin moved to Cabinteely after a successful spell at Kildrum Tigers in the Donegal League Premier Division at the beginning of 2019.
The defender was on the books of Finn Harps up to Under-19 level.
