TODAY’S ROWING schedule at the Olympic Games in Rio has been postponed due to bad weather, leaving Sinead Jennings playing a waiting game again.
Letterkenny woman Jennings and Claire Lambe were due to take to the water in the lightweight women’s double sculls semi-final, but heavy rainfall has resulted in the rowing events being put back.

Sunday’s heats were put off until Monday because of high winds.
Jennings and Lambe came comfortably through their heat and are now waiting on news of the revised plan with organisers and team managers in talks.
