Jason Quigley has moved into the top ten in the latest middleweight world rankings of the World Boxing Association (WBA).
The WBA is the oldest of the organisations which sanction world championship bouts and their latest rankings for October have Quigley listed at number 10, up from 11th.
Earlier this month, Quigley climbed to 12th in the World Boxing Council (WBC) rankings, jumping from 14th.
Quigley has not fought since beating Glen Tapia at Fantasy Springs in March to win the NABF middleweight title.
An injury to his right hand has not yet healed to the point where Quigley has been able to take a bout.
The Ballybofey man is 13-0 as a pro and has recently returned to training in Los Angeles as he plots his comeback.
