DONEGAL manager Declan Bonner says midfielder Jason McGee will be available for the Ulster final.
McGee was withdrawn after just 16 minutes of Saturday’s win over Tyrone in Cavan after picking up a knock.
Bonner has allayed fears that the Cloughaneely man would be a doubt for the final.
“Jason is alright and he’ll be 100 per cent,” Bonner said.
“He just got a bang and a dead leg. He started the game well, but luckily enough we had Ciaran (Thompson) ready to step in and he came in to do a good job.”
Caolan McGonagle has retuned to training and will also be in contention as Donegal get ready to face Cavan in Sunday-week’s final.
Bonner said: “Training is fairly competitive.
“We have a lot of young lads in there. We know the final won’t be easy. We have to get ready. The experienced lads are driving it on. We’re keeping it nice and tight. We have a big game ahead of us. Cavan have been very impressive.
“Every night we go out to train, we’re looking for improvement. We are looking for improvement all over the park.
“There is nothing handed out. We need to get ready for a challenge against Cavan and we need to improve.
“The 30 players there are all pushing it on.
