Jack Keaney netted last night as Sligo Rovers jumped above Bohemians into seventh spot in the Premier Division.
The Donegal Town native, who recently signed a new contract at Sligo until the end of the 2019 season, helped Gerard Lyttle’s team to an excellent 3-0 win.
Keaney gave Sligo the lead after 13 minutes. Stationed as a stand-in full-back, Keaney got on the end of a Regan Donelon corner to head beyond Shane Supple.
It was Keaney’s third goal of the season.
Danny Corcoran’s own goal and David Cawley’s second-half goal saw the Bit O’Red claim a vital away win.
