O’Reilly’s Sportswear was founded in 2017 by well-known Twin Towns sporting brothers Steven and Martin O’Reilly.
Our poll closes at noon on Friday.
Declan Gallagher (Ardara, Rallying)
With the Donegal International Rally less than two weeks away, Declan Gallagher won the Heartlands Mini Stages Rally in Laois on Sunday. Gallagher, who had Derek Heena calling the notes, won by a minute-and-a-half.
Karen Guthrie (Donegal ladies)
The Donegal ladies booked a place in the Ulster Ladies SFC semi-final thanks to a 3-13 to 2-12 win over Tyrone at Breffni Park on Saturday. Yet again, the experience of Karen Guthrie was key for Maxi Curran’s team. Guthrie hit six points and gave a performance full of real leadership.
Bernie McDonagh (Dunfanaghy ABC)
Dunfanaghy boxer Bernie McDonagh won his third Irish title on Friday night. McDonagh defeated Thomas McDonnell in the Irish Boy 4 52kgs final. McDonagh claimed the win courtesy of a 3-2 split decision.
Oisin Orr (Rathmullan, horse racing)
Oisin Orr is in a rich vein of form and romped home for his latest winner aboard a Dermot Weld-trained horse at the weekend. Orr took the 4/5 favourite Tinandali to victory at Navan – his 23rd winner of 2019.
Shaun Patton (Donegal)
In Donegal’s win over Tyrone at the weekend, Shaun Patton managed to keep a clean save through a few big saves. The St Eunan’s man was also flawless with his re-starts, with Donegal winning 23 out of Patton’s 24 kick outs. One of Declan Bonner’s first moves after his appointment as Donegal manager was to recruit Patton – and it’s easy to see why.
