THE INISHOWEN League have been handed a home draw in the quarter-finals of the Oscar Traynor Trophy.
Diarmuid O’Brien’s team have been paired at home to the winners of the tie between Roscommon and Monaghan-Cavan.
Inishowen will face the victor from that game on the weekend of March 5th at Maginn Park. Roscommon will meet Monaghan-Cavan in mid-February.
Inishowen already beat Monaghan-Cavan with a 7-3 win earlier this month sealing top spot in the group, with Brendan Fildara (2), Matthew Henry, Anthony Doherty (2), Michael Barr and Nigel McMonagle on target.
Inishowen won the Oscar Traynor Trophy in 2014/15 and were beaten semi-finalists last season.
Inishowen began this season with a 3-1 away win at Sligo-Leitrim, Terence Doherty, Matthew Henry and Aidan Friel scoring before Doherty was on the double in a tense 2-1 win over the Donegal League.
