Martin Harley took victory in the totepool Sirenia Stakes today at Kempton Park.
The Trentagh jockey was in the saddle of the 11/8 favourite, Invincible Army.
The James Tate-trained two-year-old took the lead inside the final furlong and ran on well to beat Corinthia Knight, under Oisin Murphy’s direction, by a length and a half.
Harley, who was second yesterday in two races – on the 8/1 Barton Mills and the 25/1 Compliance – at Kempton yesterday, also had a second-placed finish aboard Collateral.
The 7/1 Collateral, trained by Tate, was beaten by three quarters of a length by the 5/2 joint favourite Fabulous Red, ridden by Murphy.
Harley jets out now to Chantilly to take the reigns of Kyllang Rock in the Qatar Prix du Petit Couvert.
