Illies Celtic submit plans for new floodlit astro turf

ILLIES Celtic FC have sought planning permission for a new floodlit astro turf.

The ambitious Inishowen League club have lodged planning permission for a new astro turf pitch at Druminderry.

Illies have also sought permission for floodlighting, perimeter ball stops and associated site works.

The new facility at Druminderry is also home to the Illies Community Centre while the club still uses the pitch at Stranaclea.

Donegal County Council say a decision will be made on February 16 next.
