Naomh Columba came out on top in a game that turned into a real nail-biter in a good intermediate championship contest at Pairc na nGael.

Aaron Doherty opened the scoring from a free in the third minute, but Brendan McCole cancelled out.
Doherty and Gavin Mulreany traded frees before Stephen Griffin pointed from play.
From the kick out Brendan McCole won the ball and fired to the net to give the visitors a four-point lead but Naomh Columba hit back with points from two Doherty frees and a Ryan Gillespie free.
A Mulreany free put two in it.
St Naul’s lost Brendan McCole to a black Card before half time as points were traded between Griffin and Pauric Cunningham. Half-time score Naomh Columba 0-7 Naomh Naille 1-6.
The second half, Naomh Columba started like there was no tomorrow, as the game turned on its head points from Doherty and Gillespie before Phillip Doherty palmed to the net with great movement from Doherty and Kevin McNern.
Another point from Phillip Doherty left the Score 1-10 1-6.
Then another twist in the tale as St Naul’s were level by the 46th minute with John Rose point was quickly followed by a goal from sub James Flynn.
Doherty and Ryan Gillespie put two between the teams with six minutes remaining.
Peadar Mogan reduced the scoring to one as Naomh Columba held on.
