Derry proved too strong for Donegal in today’s Allianz Hurling League Division 2B clash at Ballinascreen.

Derry marched clear in the second half, outscoring Donegal 3-9 to 0-4.
The first half had been a tight affair, Derry leading 0-9 to 0-8 at the changeover.
Early in the second period, Derry took a complete control, scoring 2-2 in quick succession.
Niall Ferris and Alan Grant hit the goals for the Oak Leaf men.
Cormac O’Doherty led the way for Derry with eight points. Donegal were wasteful in the second half.
Declan Coulter top-scored for Donegal, landing nine points, but the day ended with Mark McGuigan lobbing Paul Burns for a third goal.
