Donegal star Eoghan Ban Gallagher has been ruled out of Sunday’s vital game against Kerry at Croke Park.
The Killybegs man suffered a serious ankle injury in training last night and will miss the All Ireland Super Eights tie at GAA headquarters.
He was rushed to Letterkenny University Hospital where he was treated.
Gallagher’s loss is a huge blow for Declan Bonner against the Kingdom who easily overcame Mayo last weekend.
It is hoped that the defender will not be out for long but the extent of the injury has not been confirmed.
Paddy McGrath, who missed last week’s game against Meath, is still a doubt for this weekend’s game.
