WITH JUST A week to go until the 2016 Joule Donegal International Rally, anticipation is revving up in the county and beyond.
A star-studded field will leave the start ramp on Letterkenny’s Port Road next Friday morning to tackle almost 300 kilometres over 20 special stages, spread across three days.
Donegal remains the jewel in the Irish Tarmac Rally calendar and is shown by the popularity of an event that has long been over-subscribed.

The defending champions, Garry Jennings and Rory Kennedy, head the seedings with Irish Tarmac champion, Donagh Kelly, and former Donegal and Tarmac Championship winners Declan Boyle and Eugene Donnelly sitting neatly behind them.
