OLLIE HORGAN HAS SUGGESTED that he will ring a few changes on Tuesday night when he takes Finn Harps to face St Patrick’s Athletic at Richmond Park.
On the back of a 7-0 defeat to Dundalk on Friday night that is the club’s record defeat in League football, Horgan’s shellshocked side have little time to shake that battering from their heads.
Harps were no match for Dundalk and Horgan’s men certainly chose a bad night to be so far below far.
Tuesday’s game against St Patrick’s Athletic was only confirmed by the FAI on Thursday, the fixture moved because St Pat’s are in Europa League action on the week of the original July date.
Horgan will alter his team for the game in Inchicore.
“We have a relatively big panel and after several performances against Dundalk, I think we will certainly freshen things up for Tuesday night,” Horgan said.
The likes of Ethan Boyle, Michael Funston, Liam Flatley and Kevin McHugh are among those who could be given a run from the off this time while Tony McNamee will surely return if his hamstring is deemed up to lasting a full game again.

Horgan said: “You can’t depend on other results to go your way. If we continue to play like that, we won’t even be fighting.
“I have no doubt that they’ll turn it around and get back to the battling qualities that were there.”

The Harps manager wasn’t looking around for excuses.
He said:“Defensively we were very, very poor. That’s not to take away from a fantastic Dundalk team, but it’s just disappointing that we didn’t make a better shape at it.
“Our work rate, our honesty and our work ethic wasn’t there and that was the most disappointing thing.”
