THE ULSTER Senior League’s remaining two sides – Bonagee United and Cockhill Celtic – have both been handed home ties in the round of 16 of the New Balance FAI Intermediate Cup.
Cockhill Celtic aren’t in the round of 16 yet with Gavin Cullen’s men facing a tricky replay at Munster Senior League side Midleton this Sunday. Cockhill, held to a 1-1 draw at home by Midleton on Sunday-week past, make the long journey on Sunday knowing that victory will tee up a home tie.
The winner from the Midleton-Cockhill replay will be at home to Kilnamanaghin the round of 16 after Christmas.
Bonagee United, who defeated Lakewood Athletic at home in their last 32 clash are looking forward to another home tie at Dry Arch Park. Jason Gibson’s men will face College Corinthians from Cork.
There is a repeat from one of last year’s semi-finals as Crumlin United host Maynooth United.
