SINEAD JENNINGS will have to wait at least another day for her Olympic debut after today’s rowing action in Rio was postponed.
High winds have swept around the Lagoa over the last couple of days and the rowing action has been shelved for the day.
The schedule was twice put back this morning before a decision was taken to call it off.
The weather was affecting the Albano buoy system, which marks the course, the International Rowing Federation said.

The dangerous crosswinds have left the waters of the Lagoa particularly choppy, with Irish sculler Sanita Puspure – who qualified from her heat yesterday – describing it as ‘horrific’.
Jennings is competing in the women’s lightweight double sculls alongside Claire Lambe.
