ALAN STUBBS SAYS that Conrad Logan will bring ‘invaluable experience’ after signing the Ramelton man for Hibernian on a short-term contract.
Logan has been without a club since being released by Leicester City last summer, ending a 14-year association with the Foxes, who are now top of the Premier League.
Logan has signed a two-month deal at Easter Road.
Mark Oxley is suspended for the Scottish Cup semi-final against Dundee United and, while Otso Virtanen is set to play in that game, Hibs’ only other cover is teenage ‘keeper Sean Brennan.
“Conrad will bring invaluable experience at an important time of the season,” Stubbs said.
A ruptured achillies, sustained in December 2014 while playing for Rochdale against Notts County, has kept the 29-year-old Ramelton man out of action since, but now he’s been handed a lifeline.
Logan was at Leicester City from 2001, when he signed for the club academy from Swilly Rovers, until his release last summer.
Appearances were limited, playing only 30 times for the Foxes, but he had a series of loan spells, the most recent at Rochdale.
