Once again, Patrick McBrearty was the star that caught the eye of the Twitter world as Donegal went down to a narrow defeat to Galway.
McBrearty, who scored ten points in Kerry last week, hit nine points for Donegal, six of them in the first half when he single-handedly kept his side in the game.

Patrick McBrearty seems to be playing Galway on his own. And he's leading.

A lot of miles covered this weekend from Castlebar to Letterkenny watching 4 Div 1 teams – Mayo laboured, Kerry’s young guns very impressive, Galway with Walsh and Comer effective and Donegal are work in progress but Paddy McBrearty is different gravy.

What would Donegal do without Paddy McBrearty

HT Donegal 0-8 Galway 1-7. Decent open game. Damien Comer causing bother off limited enough possession for Galway. Paddy McBrearty once more on song for Donegal. Is there a better finisher in Ireland at this minute in time?
