SEEING AS WE’RE in the business end of the season now, there’s a number of vitally important championship fixtures this weekend.
In the RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta SFC relegation play-off, Killybegs and Cloughaneely will be fighting for their lives at the Banks, Annagry, at 5:30pm on Saturday.

In the AllSports Donegal town Intermediate Football Championship, it’s semi-final weekend. On Saturday at TÃrconaill Park, Bundoran take on Aodh Ruadh at 4pm. Then, at 5:30pm on Sunday at O’Donnell Park, Gaeil Fhánada face Naomh Colmcille.
There’s also four teams left standing in the Senior Reserve Championship. The Banks will play host to the meeting of Gaoth Dobhair and Ardara on Saturday at 7pm, while Glenswilly meet Four Masters on Sunday at MacCumhaill Park at 2:30pm.
On Saturday week, October 10, MacCumhaill Park will play host to the replay of the Mount Errigal Hotel Junior A final, with Naomh Ultan and Red Hugh’s having shared a 1-7 to 0-10 draw on Sunday last. Throw-in for the replay is yet to be confirmed.
