DONEGAL WILL BE the last of the nine counties involved to take to the field in the 2016 Ulster SFC.
Rory Gallagher’s team will get their campaign underway on Sunday, June 12, against whoever comes through the preliminary round tie between Fermanagh and Antrim.
Should Pete McGrath’s Fermanagh win through the preliminary round, MacCumhaill Park in Ballybofey will play host to their game against Donegal. If it’s Antrim, a venue will be decided as Casement Park in Belfast is currently not in use.
It means that Donegal, captained by Michael Murphy (pictured above), get into action four weeks later than 2015, when they faced Tyrone on May 17.
