Fintown Harps AFC 2-5 Orchard FC
It’s three wins on the spin now for Orchard FC following their victory at Fintown.
In the 40th minute, Niall Bonner of Orchard made no mistake in putting it into the net. In the second half, Aaron Boyle put Fintown on the score board. Fintown were then awarded a free kick and Christopher Mc Glynn made sure to hit the right top corner making it 2-1. Orchard scored through Bonner again to make it 2-2. Orchard then took over scoring another three from Joe McCarron, Conor McBrearty and Vinny McLaughlin  to secure the win.
Glencar Celtic 1-2 Strand Rovers
Glencar’s horrendous start to the season continued against Strand Rovers on Saturday.
The hosts went behind in the fifth minute when a Cathal Boyle deflected header beat Dominic Friel in goals. Glencar’s bad luck didn’t end there with captain Mark Graham going off injured in the 10th minute. The home side battled well and were unlucky coming close on a few occasions. Â
Glencar were dealt another blow early in the second half, although it was against the run of play, Strand scored their second through Doalty Boyle. Somewhat rattled this lifted Glencar who finally started to play a bit and got a goal back through Glencar’s best player on the day Graham Cullen with a fine header. Garbhan Grieve had Glencar’s best chance to level from the edge of the box but Strand’s keeper saved well.

Glenree United 2-3 Erne WanderersÂ
James Gallagher scored the winning goal for Erne Wanderers in their fixture at Glenree United.
Erne took the lead 10 minutes into the first half when Glenree conceded a free kick that led to Nicky Sheerin scoring. Early in the second half Glenree were two down when a long ball caught out their defence and Daniel Warnock duly slotted home. Glenree pushed forward in search of goals. Â
They scored in the 35th minute through Connor Casey who rose highest in the box to nod home. Erne then gave away an indirect free inside the box. Denis Doherty laid it back for Marty McLaughlin who cooly side footed into the top corner. Straight from Erne’s kick0off James Gallagher ran through and toe poked past the out- rushing keeper to end the game 3-2 to visitors.Â
Donegal Town 4-2 St Catherine’s
Donegal Town came out on top against St Catherine’s in an entertaining encounter.
Donegal Town got off to a dream start and found themselves two goals up in the first half hour. David Bustard got on the end of a mishit kick-out.
Bustard ran in past the penalty spot and calmly played the ball sideways to Gary Ward who slotted home from close range. Ward can take sole credit for Donegal’s second, after making a good run into the box Ward was fouled and a penalty awarded.
Ward’s finished from the spot was first class. Donegal extended their lead early in the second half. Nathan Ward was dragged down inside the box and a second penalty awarded. Gary Ward completed his hat-trick from the spot. St Catherine’s then mounted a comeback. Stephen Anderson scoring two goals brought Catherines back within a goal of Donegal.
But it was Donegal who got all three points, Gary Herron getting Donegal’s forth goal late in the game. Gary Ward along with Ted Bustard, who’s just back from injury, were both excellent for Donegal. Ryan Haughey had a very solid senior debut for Donegal in goals and was exceptional throughout the game.
Keadue Rovers 9-0 Milford United
Luke Neely scored a hat-trick as Keadue Rovers hammered Milford United.
Keadue started the game stronger and played some lovely football. The first goal of the game came when Cory Gallagher got on the end of a ball over the top and finished well. It was all Keadue from here on in and the second goal was scored by Adam Neely after good work from his brother Luke.
Another ball over the top found Adam Neely who tucked it away. Further goals by Damien Hanlon, Cory Gallagher, Chris Greene and Luke Neely, with three, rounded off an emphatic 9-0 victory for Keadue.
Castlefin Celtic 2-1 Glenea United
Castlefin kept up their 100% home record after a fine 2-1 win over Glenea.
Castlefin started the half the brighter with Marcus Curran going close on numerous occasions but couldn’t find a way past Ciaran Gallagher in the Glenea goal. Castlefin finally broke the deadlock after 22 minutes when the ball broke into the path of Curran who slotted home from the edge of the box. Â
Glenea equalised in the 27th minute, after sloppy defending in the Castlefin box the clearance fell to Kieran Boyce who’s shot made its way through the crowded box into the bottom corner.  Castlefin took the lead again shortly after the break, Ronan Tourish found Matthew O’Rourke on 52 minutes.  O’Rourke’s strike beat the Glenea keeper Gallagher to finish into the bottom corner.Â
