IT WAS A could’ve been better should’ve been worse sort of night for Finn Harps.
Shaun Kelly scored the only goal of the game at Markets Field last night as Limerick FC won the SSE Airtricity League promotion-relegation play-off final first leg 1-0. The home team bossed the match for the most part but had to be content with the one-goal victory.
Harps, though, are still in the tie but have a number of walking wounded ahead of Friday’s second leg in Ballybofey.
“There’s knocks and bruises but we’ll patch them up and they should get through it but it’s the level they can get to that worries me,” Harps manager Ollie Horgan said.
