St Eunan’s booked a place in the Ulster Minor Club quarter-finals thanks to a fine win over reigning champions Burren yesterday.

Niall Hannigan netted a late penalty for the black and amber while goalkeeper Ronan McGeehin saved a penalty at the other end.
At the St Paul’s club in Belfast, the hosts of this annual competition, Eunan’s managed to to defeat Burren in the absence of Michael McGroary and Conor O’Donnell and they now meet Armagh’s Clann Eireann on Sunday next.
The Eunan’s goal arrived with seven minutes to go as Hannigan smashed in the penalty after Aaron Deeney had been fouled.
Earlier, McGeehin superbly saved a penalty from Liam Kerr.
St Eunan’s trailed by two points at half-time, but their comeback was completed when Hannigan netted.
In the closing stages, Hannigan was sent off, but St Eunan’s closed out to win and book a last eight berth.
