GWEEDORE CELTIC will host a charity football match on Monday in aid of a local man who has to travel to Mexico for stem cell treatment in 2016.
In 2004, John Coll from Magheroarty was diagnosed with Multiple sclerosis. In March, John has to go to Mexico to receive the treatment, which costs €50,000.
Married to Bríd, the Colls have three young children and the Gweedore Celtic club has stepped up to organise a friendly game to raise much-needed funds.
This Monday, December 28th, at 1pm at An Screaban Hugh Rua Gallagher’s Gweedore Celtic senior team will take on the Derry City under-19s, the 2015 Foyle Cup winners who competed in the SSE Airtricity Under-19 League this season.
