THE Letterkenny Ladies Golf competition on Tuesday 22nd September sponsored by Mourne Antiques was won by Grainne Hines on 36 points.
Runner-up was Angela Bradley with 34 points. The Front 9 was won by Eileen Williamson 19 points (bot) and Queen of the 9s herself Lady Captain Celine Markey won the Back 9 with 17points.
Unfortunately because of the newly introduced Covid 19 restrictions the Lady Captain’s outing had to be cancelled last weekend.
It is hoped to reschedule the outing for October 24th provided the present restrictions are lifted.
The Máire O’Donnell team captained by Cynthia Fuery had a very decisive victory over Ballybofey and Stranorlar ladies last Sunday in B&S Golf club and now progress to the final of the competition where they will meet Portsalon.
