Glengad close the gap on Clonmany in Inishowen Premier Division

GLENGAD UNITED ARE now seven points off the top in the Jackie Crossan Premier Division in Inishowen following a 1-0 win at Aileach tonight.

Seamus Doherty scored the only goal and Glengad – who have three games in hand on leaders Clonmany Shamrocks – have a chance to cut the gap further on Thursday when they play Greencastle United at the Crua.

Clonmany have just one game remaining this season, which is a home fixture against Glengad so there could well be a climactic conclusion to the season.
