Glenfin powered past Naomh Columba at Pairc na nGael this afternoon for an impressive away win in Division 2.
Naomh Columba 1-8 Glenfin 2-12
Goals in either half by Jason Morrow and Paddy O’Connor gave the An Gaeltacht Lár men a fine win.
Kevin McNern bagged a goal for Naomh Columba in the 24th minute but Morrow levelled it when he fired home after being teed up by O’Connor.
It was all square at 1-4 all at half-time, but a goal from a penalty by O’Connor just after half-time put Liam Breen’s Glenfin in front and with former Donegal player Stephen McDermott scoring two points, it was Glenfin’s day.
[adrotate group=”91″]Frank McGlynn didn’t appear for the visitors, owing to a tight hamstring, but it is not said to be serious enough to render him in any difficulty for Donegal’s clash with Tyrone in three weeks’ time.
