Glenfin won the Donegal Under-14 Division 2 Championship thanks to a narrow win over Termon at O’Donnell Park.

Glenfin led by 0-4 to 0-1 at half-time with points by Shaun Ward (2 frees), Josh Bradley and Daniel Marley from play.
When Cahair O’Hare beat the Termon ‘keeper to the ball to force the ball into the net in the opening minutes of the second-half to extend the lead to six in was looking bad for Termon.
But that was to be Glenfin’s last score in normal time as Termon staged a mighty comeback.
Rory McGrenra kicked two frees, Oisín Harkin kicked another and Kevin McGettigan, Eoghan Quinn and Manus O’Donnell all scored from play to level the game and send the game to extra-time at 1-4 to 0-7.
Josh Bradley from play and an Shuan Ward point from play put Glenfin two ahead at the break in extra-time.
Three minutes into second period Termon took the lead for first time since the game’s opening point when Luke Downey found Manus O’Donnell and the full forward held off several defenders before hammering a brillant shot into the top corner of the net, 1-7 to 1-6 for Termon.
Back came Glenfin in this cracker with an equaliser from Luke McGlynn point from play and then Shaun Ward kicked his fourth free to put them ahead again and that proved to be the winning score as Glenfin held on to win 1-8 to 1-7.
