GERALDINE McLaughlin plundered 2-9 as the Donegal ladies booked a place in the Ulster Ladies SFC final.
Cavan 1-17 Donegal 6-16
The Termon sharpshooter was to the fore as Donegal claimed a big win at Kingspan Breffni Park.
There were goals, too, for Niamh McLaughlin, Katy Herron, Karen Guthrie and Niamh Hegarty.
Donegal will now meet the winners of the second semi-final, between Armagh and Tyrone – a game that takes place next weekend – in the final.
An Aisling Sheridan goal after only eight minutes helped Cavan into a 1-5 to 0-1 advantage.
However, Hegarty prodded home Donegal’s opening goal before Niamh McLaughlin added another.
When Geraldine McLaughlin tucked home her first goal, Donegal were now 3-6 to 1-8 in front.
Donegal would add three further goals as Maxi Curran’s team sealed their place in the final.
