AHEAD of their All-Ireland qualifier Round 4B clash with Donegal on Saturday, Galway manager Kevin Walsh has made just one change from the side that defeated Derry last time out.
Following their 1-11 to 0-8  Round 3A win over Brian McIver’s Derry in Salthill, Adrian Varley is in at No 13 in front of Peadar Ó Griofa.
Donegal are playing only their second qualifier in five years – with the other being the 0-14 to 0-8 win over Laois in Carrick-on-Shannon in 2013 – following their 0-11 to 0-10 loss to Monaghan in the Ulster SFC final in Clones.
Karl Lacey, the 2012 Footballer of the Year is out with a knee injury sustained in that match, while Rory Gallagher is also understood to be without Darach O’Connor, who also has a knee complaint.
Galway team v Donegal: Brian O’Donoghue; Johnny Duane, Finian Hanley, Cathal Sweeney; Gareth Bradshaw, Gary O Donnell, Liam Silke; Fiontan Ó Curraoin, Tom Flynn; Gary Sice, Paul Conroy, Micheal Lundy; Adrian Varley, Damien Comer, Danny Cummins.
