THE SEAN DUNNION SNR MEMORIAL CUPÂ Â was played on Thursday night in Tir Conaill Park by all the young Four Masters Under-8s.
They played two semi-finals and then a third and fourth place game and then the final. Karl Lacey came out and watched the boys play in all their games and chatted to all the boys.
Zach Campbell’s and Conor McCahill’s teams were in the final. There was a great exhibition of score taking, passing, tackling and blocking. It was very close six points each up to the final minute. Zach Campbell pointed in the dying seconds to won the final. The Dunnion family were present at the games and Damien spoke on behalf of family.
Evelyn Dunnion presented the cup and Karl Lacey presented the medals to all the boys. That brings to the end another year for the Under-8s , which was an enjoyable and progressive year.
“Thanks to all coaches involved and ladies helping with blitzes,” said Ronan Boyle, the Under-8 coach.
