Naomh Bríd scored a fine away win at Letterkenny Gaels as Gerard Gallagher’s goal helped fire the Ballintra men to victory.

Naomh Brid, playing against the elements, opened the scoring at Páirc na nGael yesterday with points from Pauric Rooney and Gerard Gallagher before Gaels settled.
Brendan O’Brien opened Gaels account with a fine point in the 15th minute.
The visitors then opened up the Gaels defence with a decisive score on seventeen minutes which was finished by Gallagher.
Sean Mc Donagh kicked another fine point on 20 minutes but the visitors were having the lion share of possession and they were controlling matters. Clint Walsh completed the first half scoring to give Naomh Brid a four point interval lead.
Naomh Brid opened the second half with a fine score from midfielder Gormley before O’Brien replied with two points for the home side. However it was all Naomh Bríd from then to the finish as Cian Gallagher, Pauric McDaid and sub Shane Walsh stretched the lead by the end of the third quarter.
Shane Graham then converted a long range free for the Gaels but that ended their scoring as Daragh Brogan,Callum Gallagher and Shane Walsh (2) sent the Ballintra men home with a comprehensive win.
