Gairmscoil Chú Uladh is the winner of the Michael Murphy Sports and Leisure School Stars’ Award for this term.
Located in the Donegal Gaeltacht Centre, near Fintown, the school was commended for a number of national recognitions and awards. The Donegal captain made a surprise visit to the school to present the pupils with a training kit to the value of €250, courtesy of the Letterkenny sports shop.
Nominated by their teacher, Aoife Nash, Gairmscoil Chú Uladh was awarded an ‘Active School and Healthy Schools Flag’ in 2016; the school also won the All-Ireland Sky Sports Award in the same year.
