MATT McLAUGHLIN from Foyle Valley was the winner of tonight’s Educate Together 5k.
McLaughlin came home in a time of 17 minutes and seven seconds to win the race very comfortably.
In second place, one minute and 19 seconds behind was Aron Cole – also of Foyle Valley – and Annraoi Cheevers from Letterkenny Athletic Club was third in 18:32.
Foyle Valley also took the honours in the women’s event, with Gemma McGinty winning in a time of 19 minutes and 33 seconds.
