CHRIS MCGUINNESSÂ was the winner of today’s Danny McDaid 15K in Letterkenny.
The Foyle Valley Athletic Club member finished off the circuit in a fine time of 51 minutes and 42 seconds, which was 46 seconds better than Adam Speer from Finn Valley Athletic Club.
Natasha Adams from Letterkenny Athletic Club was third overall and the first woman home in an excellent 53 minutes 33 seconds.
Today was the 11th staging of the race, with the first race having taken place in 2005. The race is named after Letterkenny AC’s Danny McDaid who took part in the Olympic Games in ’72 and ’76.
