Foyle Cup joy for Donegal Women’s League Under-11s

THE DONEGAL WOMEN’S LEAGUE Under-11s won the Foyle Cup this afternoon.

In the final, the Donegal team defeated Sion Swifts 3-2 on penalties after a scoreless draw at Aileach FC.

Goalkeeper Aoibhinn Randles was the star in the decider, saving a key penalty in the shoot-out.

In their semi=final, Donegal Women’s League A defeated the Donegal Women’s League B team, thanks to a Hannah Hopkins goal.

In the third-fourth place play-off Donegal B defeated Foyle Belles 1-0 with Rocha McCullagh on target.
