Goals by Gabriel Aduaka, Jack O’Donnell, Odhrán McGuinness and Jamie Doherty shot the Donegal lads to an emphatic victory.
Under the management of Glenn Gallagher and Steve Coll for only a couple of weeks following the departure of Conor McCullagh, the transition has been seamless for the Donegal side.
[adrotate group=”38″]Wins over Newington, Ballycastle and Oxford this week shot them to the semis and a 2-0 win over Norwich City last night in Greencastle – Steven McFadden with both goals there – propelled them into the decider.
This evening on Derry’s Waterside, Donegal began brightly and Aduaka’s super finish gave them the lead after ten minutes.
Just before half-time, O’Donnell made it 2-0 when his shot crept underneath the Trojans goalkeeper.
