THE DONEGAL YOUTH League will await the submission of the referee’s report before confirming what action to take after a League game was abandoned today.
The match between Drumkeen United and Keadue Rovers at St Patrick’s Park was abandoned after 83 minutes.
Referee George Clinton called a halt after a brawl broke out seven minutes from the end of the game.
Drumkeen’s Jerome Duffy and Keadue’s Jordi Doogan were given second yellow cards in the 45th and 82nd minutes.
But in the 83rd minute, Drumkeen duo Keenan Gibson and Jonny Black were given straight red cards.
A brawl broke out and a halt was called.
The Donegal Youth League will meet to review Clinton’s report.
