OLLIE HORGAN HAS confirmed the retention of another four of his squad for the 2016 season.
Goalkeeper Ciaran Gallagher, defender Thomas McMonagle and midfield pair Michael Funston and Raymond Foy are the latest players to commit to Harps for next year.
Gallagher kept 18 clean sheets in the 2015 season when he started in every game in the promotion-winning season.
Gallagher returned to Harps last season after spending a season at Derry City, where he was understudy to Gerard Doherty.
Although just 23 years old, the Raphoe man has clocked up 162 appearances for Harps in all competitions since making his debut in April 2009.
Funston is a vastly experienced player who has made almost 300 appearances for the club. Having signed from Bonagee United in 2004, he became an important part of the First Division-winning panel under Felix Healy’s guidance that year.
Bar a year and a bit at Dungannon Swifts, Funston has spent his entire career at Finn Park, where he has now played in 295 games.
Foy also returned to Finn Park last winter and such was the level of his displays in 2015, he was named as the club’s Player of the Year.
Burnfoot’s McMonagle has also agreed another one-year deal at Ballybofey. Between his spells at the club, he has made 94 appearances.
The signings bring to nine the total number of players to have signed for Horgan’s Harps for their assault on the Premier Division.
Former Manchester United Under-21 captain Ryan McConnell was confirmed last week, along with the re-signings of captain Kevin McHugh, vice captain Ciaran Coll, as well as Gareth Harkin and Tony McNamee.
