FOUR MASTERS held off the advances of Sean MacCumhaills to claim the Donegal U14 ‘A’ Championship title on Friday night.

The Donegal Town outfit took the prize after an exciting game in Glenfin.
Barrie McGhee’s goal early in the second half kept MacCumhaills on the charge for the remainder, but Four Masters weren’t to be denied.
Four Masters – led by former Donegal players Shane Carr and Joyce McMullen as well as Damien Dunnion, Emmet Gallagher and Pauric Harvey – had an early goal from Daniel Quinn.
With the game still in its infancy, Daniel McIntyre rattled the net for a second Four Masters goal.
McGhee pegged the deficit back, but Caolan Sweeney bagged a third major for Four Masters.
MacCumhaills stayed right in touch, but Daniel Quinn’s second goal of the night sealed the deal.
