NEW signing Stephen Folan could be included this evening as Finn Harps face St Patrick’s Athletic.
Ollie Horgan recruited the former Dundalk defender, but he was not eligible for the games against Shamrock Rovers and Shelbourne.
Following back-to-back defeats, Horgan and Harps will be keen to get points on the board again.
Folan, who hails from Galway, also spent time with Galway United, Cork City and Sligo Rovers, but had moved to South Melbourne FC in 2019 after making just one appearance for Dundalk last season.
Folan’s signing was seen as a coup for Horgan and he could feature at Inchicore this evening.
Leo Donnellan, who was forced off on Monday in the 1-0 loss to Shelbourne, is regarded as doubtful.
Barry McNamee has not featured in a post-lockdown squad due to a rib injury, but there has been no official update as to his status.
St Pat’s, too, are coming off a defeat having lost out to Derry City.
Pat’s boss Stephen O’Donnell said: “We’ve a game to look forward to and the good thing is we don’t have too much time to dwell on Monday’s result.
“Finn Harps coming down is going to be a tough test. They’re a big physical team and will pose a big threat.
“The lads have trained well since Monday, recovered mainly and everyone’s looking forward to it and aware that our home record needs to be better. We need to start winning games at home and need to make Richmond a fortress.”
