FINN HARPS HAVE a lengthy list of injury concerns and absentees for Friday night’s trip to Wexford Youths.
Striker Dave Scully will serve a one-game suspension this week, the Dubliner having reached the quota of four yellow cards.
Ollie Horgan, the Harps manager, has mounting injury concerns, for the game with Shane Keegan’s side, who are without Danny Furlong, the top scorer in the First Division last season.
Furlong also serves a suspension having been sent off in Wexford’s 4-0 loss to St Patrick’s Athletic earlier this month.
Horgan saw three players hobble off in Friday night’s 3-1 loss at Cork City in Turner’s cross.
Raymond Foy (hamstring), Adam Hanlon (knee) and Richard Brush (groin) will all be assessed this week before a decision is made on whether or not they can line out.
“I don’t really know where we are at the moment, we’re struggling with a big number of players and we’re a bit all over the place,” Horgan said.
“We’re unsure how serious the injuries are so we’ll wait to we get the results back before we see how we’re fixed for Wexford.”
Harps remain without Michael Rafter, Josh Mailey and Barry Molloy, who are on the long-term injury list.
Horgan himself will serve a one-match touchline ban this Friday. Horgan will watch from the stand having been given the ban following his sending off late in the 2-1 defeat to St Patrick’s Athletic in Ballybofey.
