FINN HARPS’ SSE Airtricity League Premier Division game against St Patrick’s Athletic tonight has been postponed.
A pitch inspection has ruled that the Finn Park pitch is unplayable.
Heavy rainfall in Ballybofey has left the pitch waterlogged and with no let up expected this afternoon, the decision has been taken to postpone the fixture.
A press release from the Football Association of Ireland said: “Tonight’s SSE Airtricity League Premier Division League fixture between Finn Harps and St. Patrick’s Athletic has been postponed as the pitch in Finn Park is waterlogged.
“A new date for the fixture will be announced in due course.”
